Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to present straightforward information on drug risks, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. According to organisers, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources.
